Our Story
The Glass House Mountains Community Centre began with a simple but powerful vision — to support those in need and strengthen the bonds that hold our community together.

Originally founded to provide welfare and essential assistance to local residents, the Centre quickly grew into much more than a place for help — it became a space for connection, belonging and community life.

Over the years, we’ve stood beside our neighbours through times of hardship and recovery, playing a strong role in disaster relief and emergency support. Our work is grounded in equity, compassion, and person-centred care, ensuring that every individual who walks through our doors feels seen, valued and supported.

Beyond providing community support, we also offer a small hall space available for hire. It’s a place where people come together to learn, share and connect.

Quietly but efficiently, we continue to build connections, network services, and nurture community spirit, working in the background to help everyone achieve their best.

At the Glass House Mountains Neighbourhood Centre, we believe that when we look after one another, our whole community grows stronger.
